Yukon Wilderness Homestead is led by partners Teah Dickson and Tyler Cormier, whose combined experience and deep connection to the North shape everything they do. Teah is a fourth‑generation Yukoner, a proud Kluane First Nation member, and the great‑granddaughter of the original 1905 homesteader who settled this very property. With a background in tourism, and renewable resource management and a lifetime spent welcoming visitors through her family’s historic guiding and outfitting business, Teah brings cultural authenticity, environmental stewardship, and a heartfelt commitment to sharing her heritage. Tyler grew up on a self‑sufficient homestead in rural Saskatchewan and later built a career guiding fishing, hunting, horseback riding, and dog‑sledding adventures across the Yukon. A skilled cabin builder and passionate outdoorsman, he brings hands‑on expertise in wilderness safety, carpentry, and land‑based living. Together, Teah and Tyler blend tradition, craftsmanship, and a love for the land to create meaningful, comfortable, and culturally rich experiences for every guest who visits the Yukon Wilderness Homestead.
